1 - "Wild Things - All About Animals" - NEW! |
Do you love animals?
Do you enjoy learning about them- especially the "unusual"
facts? In "Wild Things" we will explore the animal world
from exotic to domestic creatures and focus on interesting
facts, animal behavior and our responsibility as humans
towards the respect and protection of other living species.
BONUS- a visit from or field trip to the Wild Life Preserve
in San Jose! |

WEEK 2 - "Secrets
of the Mayans" - NEW! |
Do you know what
two important contributions the Mayans made to modern
civilization? Come and find out along with the history,
lifestyle, food, arts and crafts, spiritual practices
and secrets of the fascinating culture. Experience what
it would be like to live like a Mayan for a week! |

WEEK 3 - "Creative
Writing" - |
If you like to
read Harry Potter you will especially enjoy our creative
writing class this summer! It is all about FANTASY! Learn
how to make your writing more colorful and exciting!
Enhance your vocabulary, expand your creativity by creating
magical characters and exotic, fantastical settings!
You will use your imagination to make writing fun while
polishing your language arts skills. (recommended age
7+) |

Week 4
& 5 - "The Fabulous 50's "- NEW! |
If you have ever
dreamed of being an actor, this is the class for you! Even
if you are shy, this is the class for you. Designed to
enhance and increase your self esteem and confidence, build
your reading skills and creativity, increase your sense
of self and presence, this class will also assist you in
learning how to interact with others and develop teamwork
and cooperative learning skills. This year's theme will
revolve around "Musicals" - as in Disney's High School
Musical, Grease, and some old favorites. There will be
an afternoon performance on the last day of class! |
